My Name is Tejay Elliott and I am the owner and taxidermist of TrapLine Taxidermy. I’ve been a full time taxidermist for nearly a decade. After college, I moved to attend Montana School of Taxidermy and Tanning. After completion and returning to my home town, I started TrapLine Taxidermy in Roseburg, Oregon. I realized quickly that client relations takes time and the best way to fast track my experience and knowledge in the industry was going to be working for an already established business. This was a great decision. I strictly mounted animals for 7 years, mounting easily 2,000 animals. I was the shop foreman for the first international taxidermy company located in Houston, Texas. I’ve either worked or competed in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Utah, and Texas, where I took numerous awards at the state and national level. Those awards include; Best of Category - Blacktail (Oregon), First Place - Blacktail (Oregon), First Place - Mule Deer (Oregon), Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation - Best Elk (Oregon), Horizon Award - Best Upcoming Artist (Oregon), Highest Scoring Research Mannikins Award (Idaho), and Second Place - Lifesize Mountain Lion (Nationals Utah). I was the Treasurer and Vice President of a Taxidermy non profit for several years and I’m a certified measured for Safari Club International. I take a lot of pride in the work I do and I truly hope each and every client leaves our doors satisfied and happy with the experience they had with TrapLine Taxidermy. I look forward to being the artist that you trust with your trophies!

HAPPY HUNTING!
